This bookmark features my own watercolor illustration of Wilkie Collins on one side and vegan leather on the other (dyed a rich black tone), stitched together to create a durable, 4mm-thick rigid bookmark. It displays the following quote:
"I’ve always held the old-fashioned opinion that the primary object of a work of fiction should be to tell a story."
This quote is from one of Wilkie's best known words, The Woman in White. Such a rich, beautiful classic British mystery -- I highly recommend it if you've not yet made your way through it!
