Road to Avonlea Coffee Mug (The Story Girl & The Golden Road by L. M. Montgomery)

Fans of Road to Avonlea, stand up and announce yourselves! I watched this show when it was first shown on television, years ago. It has been my personal delight to introduce people to it ever since, most recently my own kids. We read The Story Girl and The Golden Road together and then watched the television series before our own family paid a visit to Prince Edward Island. I adore Lucy Maud Montgomery's books first and foremost and am pretty picky about adaptations of any of her works. I give Road to Avonlea my full stamp of approval though. I think they took the characters and storylines and wove them together in a beautiful way for fans of Montgomery to enjoy.
