G is for Gilbert in Anne's World, of course. A charming, playful, quirky fellow with a depth of loyalty we admire, this original watercolor illustration of him is meant to celebrate the fun of living. So many joys and laughs, mixed in with the hardships and sorrows. Focusing on joy this season (and all seasons) is important and I think Gilbert reminds us that there's usually something to grin about.
